Overview

To manage the F&B Outlets of Kahler Grand to include Lord Essex and Room Service, so as to maintain established operational standards and maximize profits of the hotels.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and guest service quality.
  • Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximizes profitability related to the food and beverage department.
  • Contribute to the profitability and guest satisfaction perception of other hotel departments.
  • Supervise Food & Beverage staff. This includes hiring, training, counseling, disciplining, terminating and completing performance evaluations.
  • Develops short term and long term financial and operational plans for the food and beverage department which support the overall objectives of the hotel.
  • Participates in the preparation of the annual hotel budget
  • Increases level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an improved product through employee development, job engineering and quality image.
  • Maintain procedures for credit control and handling of financial transactions.
  • Maintain inventory control procedures
  • Receive departmental related guest complaints and ensures corrective action is taken

Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel environment.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

     

  • Compensation:  $65k annually based on qualifications and experience.
