The Door Attendant Supervisor creates a strong sense of arrival for hotel, restaurant and banquet guests. Shares responsibilities with Bell/Valet Attendants to assure that guests’ departure is swift and complete.
• Leads, trains, and mentors Door, Bell, and Valet Attendants to ensure consistent service standards, teamwork, and professional guest interactions.
• Oversees daily operations at the hotel entrance, delegating tasks and providing direction to staff to maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming arrival experience.
• Greets guests who arrive by private car, taxi, or limo by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel. Assists guests descending from cars.
• Issues appropriate valet parking ticket to guests who want car parked and transfers guests/cars to bell/valet staff. Gives verbal greeting to guests arriving on foot. Opens hotel doors for all guests.
• Unloads guest luggage from car, tags it and issues claim tickets to the guest. Directs hotel guests to the Front Desk for check-in. Transfers luggage to the Bell Staff.
• Assures the smooth flow of traffic on the drive by directing guest cars, taxis and/or shuttles to the appropriate location.
• Provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and all offerings. Loads luggage in car for departing guests if applicable.
• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, etc.
• Greets all guests passing through Front Door and offers them assistance.
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provides a high level of cleanliness of the hotel entrance
• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the areas of Bell Staff and Valet Parking Staff

• Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work irregular hours, weekends, and evenings.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Compensation Range:
The compensation for this position is $18 - $20 per hour
