Overview

As the Guest Service Manager – Patient Information Services for Kahler Hospitality Group, specializing in accommodating guests staying with us for medical appointments primarily at the Mayo Clinic, your primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless experience and optimal wellbeing of our guests during their stay. You'll be tasked with evaluating guests' needs, facilitating access to resources within and outside the hotel, and fostering partnerships with the Mayo Clinic to enhance patient care services.

 

Your role involves building strong relationships with guests, providing emotional support, and assisting them in accessing appropriate levels of care and resources throughout their medical journey. By collaborating with the Mayo Clinic and other healthcare providers, you'll ensure that guests receive the highest quality of care and support tailored to their individual needs.

 

In addition to coordinating medical services, you'll also promote wellness and social integration among. Through educational initiatives and personalized assistance, you'll empower guests to maintain overall wellness and independence.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Evaluate guests' medical and wellness needs, facilitating access to resources and services.
  • Collaborate with the Mayo Clinic to enhance patient care services and ensure a seamless experience for guests.
  • Provide support to guests and their families throughout their medical stay.
  • Facilitate communication between guests, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in guest care and services.
  • Assist hotel with lobby coverage during peak Mayo patient interactions.
  • Assist Front Office and Reservations with guest service opportunities.
  • Assist Front Office and Reservations with on-line reputation management.
  • And other duties assigned to enhance our guest’s experience.

Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in health care or hospitality industry, with a focus on organizational or management roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage guests to achieve maximum wellbeing.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and ethical decision-making skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including experience working with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management and delegation abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, guests, and hotel staff.

 

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $50k - $55k annually based on experience and qualifications.
