The General Cashier will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations. This position involves handling daily cash transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Handling and Banking

    • Handle daily cash transactions and ensure accuracy.
    • Prepare daily bank deposits and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
    • Reconcile cash receipts with sales records and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or cashier role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $18/hour - $19/hour based on experience and qualifications.
