Overview

Kahler Hospitality Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for processing payroll for four hotels on a biweekly basis, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Process biweekly payroll for employees across four hotels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Review and validate timesheets, wage calculations, and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates.
  • Reconcile payroll-related accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and benefits administration.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management, providing excellent customer service.
  • Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, software, and Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Certification in payroll (e.g., CPP) is a plus.
