Overview

To act as an ambassador of the hotel by providing special assistance and information about local area attractions to customers and patrons, offering a wide selection of alternatives for guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests.  Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.  Prepare and serve hot, cold, and/or alcoholic beverages.  Stock ice, glassware, and supplies.  Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly.  Complete all opening and closing checklist duties.  These checklists are to be turned into Front Office Manager or Supervisor at the end of every shift.  Wash dishes, serving utensils, and clean dishwasher filter daily.  Requisition all necessary supplies, transporting supplies from kitchen to bar set-up area as needed.  Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.  Document pertinent information at bottom of the checklist to pass on to the next shift and management.  Forecast additional meal requirements and communicate special requests to the kitchen.  Report incidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to your manager. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.  Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company/Marriott standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.  Speak with others, and support team to reach common goals.  Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.  Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds; and stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.  Be present in the concierge lounge during peak times. High school diploma or above, preferred. Prior hospitality experience, preferred. Prior customer service experience, required.
