To manage the F&B Outlets of Kahler Grand, Kahler Inn & Suites, Marriott Mayo, and Residence Inn by Marriott to include food service and lounge service so as to maintain established operational standards and maximize profits of the hotels. This position is also be responsible for the banquet service functions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and guest service quality.
  • Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximizes profitability related to the food and beverage department.
  • Contribute to the profitability and guest satisfaction perception of other hotel departments.
  • Supervise Food & Beverage staff. This includes hiring, training, counseling, disciplining, terminating and completing performance evaluations.
  • Develops short term and long term financial and operational plans for the food and beverage department which support the overall objectives of the hotel.
  • Participates in the preparation of the annual hotel budget
  • Increases level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an improved product through employee development, job engineering and quality image.
  • Maintain procedures for credit control and handling of financial transactions.
  • Maintain inventory control procedures
  • Receive departmental related guest complaints and ensures corrective action is taken

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Food and Beverage industry required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer knowledge
  • Strong customer service skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Food and Beveage Management background required
  • College degree in related field preferred
